Timelines and expectations

How long before we see results?

Usually three to six months. Search engines need time to crawl the changes and reassess the site's authority. Technical fixes can show faster movement in crawling and impressions; competitive head terms take longer.

No. Anyone who promises guaranteed rankings in 30 days is overselling. Nobody controls a search engine. We guarantee the quality of the diagnosis, the plan and the reporting.

We review the plan against the data every quarter. If the diagnosis was wrong, we say so and change direction. Continuing to bill for a plan that is not working is not a service.

A diagnostic project runs four to six weeks. Ongoing consulting is typically six to twelve months, long enough for the content and authority work to compound.

Pricing and commitment

We do not publish rate cards. Scope, effort and pricing are assembled individually for each client after we understand the site, the market and the internal resources available.

Send us the site, the market and what you are trying to achieve using the contact form. We come back with a scoped, individually prepared proposal for your budget and objectives.

No. Retainers run monthly with a notice period agreed in the proposal. The deliverables are yours regardless of whether the engagement continues.

No. The first conversation and a high-level look at your situation cost nothing and carry no obligation.

Scope and ways of working

Both models work. We can lead the programme, or act as strategist and reviewer for your writers and developers. Most clients start with us leading and take over as the system settles.

We specify everything precisely and can implement on-page and content work directly. Server-side and template changes usually run through your developers, with us reviewing before release.

We write the briefs, standards and calendar. Writing can be done by your team, your agency or writers we work with, depending on volume and subject expertise.

Yes. Replatforming, redesigns and domain merges are one of the highest-risk moments for organic traffic. We plan the redirects, review staging and monitor the launch window.

Data and reporting

Read access to Google Search Console and analytics, plus a crawlable site. For technical work, server log access is very useful but not mandatory.

Dashboards you can open any time, plus a written monthly commentary explaining what moved, what did not, and what changes next month. No filler charts.

Qualified organic sessions, non-brand clicks, page-one coverage for target clusters and conversions. Average position on its own tells you very little.

Never. Paid link networks put the domain at risk. We earn references through digital PR, genuine partnerships and content worth citing.
